My Story

This is the story of how a conventional career path gradually turned into a systems-thinking journey.

Five observations that shaped everything I build today.

The map

For a long time, I believed careers followed a predefined route.

Study.
Work.
Advance.
Repeat.

The problem wasn’t that the map was wrong.

The problem was that it wasn’t mine.

“𝒯𝒽𝑒 𝓂𝑜𝓈𝓉 𝒾𝓂𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉𝒶𝓃𝓉 𝒸𝒶𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓇 𝒹𝑒𝒸𝒾𝓈𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓈 𝓇𝒶𝓇𝑒𝓁𝓎 𝒶𝓅𝓅𝑒𝒶𝓇 𝑜𝓃 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓇𝒾𝑔𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓁 𝓂𝒶𝓅.”

Geography doesn’t create opportunity

Living and working across different countries taught me something unexpected.

Changing locations doesn’t automatically change outcomes.

Systems do.

The same person can thrive in one environment and struggle in another.

“𝒪𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉𝓊𝓃𝒾𝓉𝓎 𝒾𝓈 𝓇𝒶𝓇𝑒𝓁𝓎 𝒶 𝓅𝓁𝒶𝒸𝑒. ℳ𝑜𝓇𝑒 𝑜𝒻𝓉𝑒𝓃, 𝒾𝓉 𝒾𝓈 𝒶 𝓈𝓎𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓂.”

Organizations run on invisible systems

The longer I worked inside large organizations, the more I realized that success rarely depends on individual effort alone.

Processes.
Knowledge.
Governance.
Documentation.

The invisible architecture often matters more than the visible work.

“ℰ𝓋𝑒𝓇𝓎 𝑜𝓊𝓉𝒸𝑜𝓂𝑒 𝒾𝓈 𝓈𝓊𝓅𝓅𝑜𝓇𝓉𝑒𝒹 𝒷𝓎 𝒶 𝓈𝓎𝓈𝓉𝑒𝓂, 𝓌𝒽𝑒𝓉𝒽𝑒𝓇 𝓅𝑒𝑜𝓅𝓁𝑒 𝓈𝑒𝑒 𝒾𝓉 𝑜𝓇 𝓃𝑜𝓉.”

Careers are systems too

Eventually I started asking a different question.

What if careers work the same way?

What if opportunities emerge through networks, skills, signals and timing?

That question became the foundation of my work.

“𝒞𝒶𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓇𝓈 𝑒𝓋𝑜𝓁𝓋𝑒 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝒸𝑜𝓃𝓃𝑒𝒸𝓉𝒾𝑜𝓃𝓈, 𝓃𝑜𝓉 𝓉𝒽𝓇𝑜𝓊𝑔𝒽 𝓁𝒾𝓃𝑒𝒶𝓇 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝑔𝓇𝑒𝓈𝓈𝒾𝑜𝓃.”

A. TYPICAL wasn't planned

It emerged from years of studying how people, opportunities, systems and future trends connect.

Today that exploration continues through frameworks, experiments, research and creative projects.

“𝒮𝑜𝓂𝑒𝓉𝒾𝓂𝑒𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓂𝑜𝓈𝓉 𝓋𝒶𝓁𝓊𝒶𝒷𝓁𝑒 𝓂𝒶𝓅 𝒾𝓈 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝑜𝓃𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊 𝒸𝓇𝑒𝒶𝓉𝑒 𝓎𝑜𝓊𝓇𝓈𝑒𝓁𝒻.”

Beyond the frameworks

Some stories don’t fit inside frameworks.

Some experiences don’t fit inside diagrams.

Career Memoir is a personal reflection on the places, decisions, questions and moments that shaped my journey.

A more personal layer for those who want to explore beyond the systems.
